We are pleased to announce SSBSE 2012, the fourth edition of the annual
symposium dedicated to Search-Based Software Engineering (SBSE). SBSE studies the application of meta-heuristic
optimization techniques to various software engineering problems, ranging
from requirements engineering to software testing and maintenance. The
community celebrated its 10th year at SSBSE 2011 amid growing interests and
attention from the wider software engineering community. The symposium builds
on the flourishing interest in SBSE and provides a welcoming forum for
discussion and dissemination that will strengthen the rapidly-growing
international SBSE community.
The 4th edition of SSBSE will be held in Riva del Garda, Trento, Italy. Riva del Garda (it is also known as Riva) is a small city located at the north-western corner of the Garda Lake, in the middle of the Alps. Riva in fact is bordered by Mount Rocchetta to the west and Monte Brione to the east. However, due to the presence of the lake, the weather favors the Mediterranean vegetation: lemon trees, olive trees, laurel and palm trees, Riva is an oasis of Mediterranean at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites.
More information about Riva del Garda is available here.
We look forward to receiving your submissions and seeing you in Riva del Garda in September, 2012!
